Credit card theft/fraud case hits Murfreesboro victim with $3,125

(MURFREESBORO, TENN.) Murfreesboro detectives attempt to identify a woman suspected of being linked to the credit card theft. The victim in the case is a Murfreesboro woman who was shopping at the New Salem Highway Publix store when someone stole her wallet. Apparently, his wallet was in his shopping cart when the theft happened on October 6.

After the robbery, an unknown subject used several of the victim’s credit cards at Walgreens, Kroger and other locations – spending $3,125, which is where the charge of credit card fraud comes in.

Police told WGNS NEWS the unknown suspect had braided black and blonde hair and was wearing light-colored, possibly pink, scrubs. If you know this person or have information, please call Det. Jessica Rice at 629-201-5550 or email [email protected]
